David


David Fowkes has taught Chemistry for almost 30 years. The first 10 years of his career were spent teaching chemistry at King Edward VI School, Southampton, where he became the Head of Junior Science .

In 1993 he was appointed Head of Chemistry and then Head of Science at Framlingham College.  On moving to Rossall School in Lancashire as Head of Science David became  Director of Studies and Deputy Head. David now works part-time as the Director of the IB Institute at St.Clare's, Oxford. He has written chemistry texts for Nelson Thornes and Pearson Education and was an author for Plato Learning's acclaimed multimedia science school (MSS 16-18).
