Our training courses are designed to enable staff to maintain and update your school website. The one day course, 'making manageable websites', is an introduction to web design specifically for schools.
experience required
A basic familiarity with computers is all that is needed. The ability to use a Windows operating system and basic word processing skills will be sufficient. Some familiarity with image editing software will be helpful but is not essential.hardware required
Many staff prefer to bring their own laptop computers for use during the course. This helps us to keep costs down and is particularly convenient as participants can easily access their own data, photographs etc. We can if required, provide appropriate laptops for participants. There will be a charge for this.software required
We do not specify any particular software for our courses, indeed we will show you how to maintain and update a site without using specialist web software. For simplicity we would prefer that all participants use a modern Windows operating system and Internet Explorer 6.course contents
