Jayne Sorrell is a highly experienced tutor of A level biology. She is now offering online private tuition for A level students of biology. Jayne graduated from the University of Bath with an Honours Degree in Biology. Following that, she completed a PGCE in Secondary Education, with a specialism in Science. After her initial NQT year, she spent some time as a researcher in Microbiology at the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Since then she has been teaching in the Further Education sector and as a private tutor. She has taught at Brockenhurst college for the majority of her teaching career, during which time she taught over a variety of different courses, including A Level Biology and Applied Science as well as adult Access and Distance Learning courses. More recently, whilst bringing up her two girls, she has been tutoring A Level Biology.

I very much enjoyed my tutor sessions with David and Jayne who really helped me with my Chemistry and Biology A levels. When the pandemic began they carried on helping me via zoom and went the extra mile to find me stuff relating to the degree I was starting when we found out my a levels were cancelled. They're both super kind and considerate and would always go through any topic slowly and at a pace I was happy with. Highly recommend!
